How to Avail the Maximum Benefits from the Corresponding Planets

Planets and gemstone

Since Ancient Times, it has been believed that every individual carries an aura around self. This aura comprises of karmic events (good and bad actions). Some have followed the person into the current birth from the previous birth, while others relate to actions being performed in the existing birth. Scientific studies have gone one step further, to suggest that the space around an individual is filled with microwaves, infrared waves and ultraviolet radiations. Together, they are known as electromagnetic radiations. Regardless of whatever anyone says, it must be concluded that the ‘human’ aura is a combination of positive and negative cosmic energies. These energies from the universe enter Earth through its atmosphere.

How can this aura be improved?

In light of what was stated above, it becomes imperative to expand the good effects offered by positive cosmic rays and to reduce the bad effects thrown out by negative cosmic rays. Towards this end, nine gems have been chosen by Vedic astrology to handle the task. Obviously, planetary vibrations cannot be tackled from Earth. Therefore, the only alternative is to seek help from suitable gemstones. These nine gems are also known as Navratnas. They include Cat’s Eye, Ruby, Emerald, Diamond, Blue Sapphire, Hessonite, Yellow Sapphire, Pearl and Red Coral. They are the divine Jyotish gems, which act as communication centres between individuals on Earth and planets in the skies. They must link up with the nine planets, Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu.

The fiery Sun may be appeased by the glowing Ruby, while the cool Moon appears happy with the shining Pearl. Similarly, Mercury bonds beautifully with sparkling Emerald, while Venus loves lustrous Diamond. Mars is a good friend of the charming Red Coral. Jupiter prefers the radiant Yellow Sapphire, while Saturn prefers the bewitching Blue Sapphire. Rahu may be pleased with the help of the down-to-earth Hessonite. Ketu prefers to go for the unique Cat’s Eye. Thus, if you know which planet is beneficial to you and which is harmful, you may opt for a suitable gemstone online at

What is unusual about Rahu and Ketu?

You may not be aware of it, but Rahu and Ketu are not actually planets. In fact, they are believed to be the two ends of a dragon with a tail. While the former is the northern node (cranium), the latter is the southern node (tail). If you wish to see them, look for two paths in the sky. They traverse the same paths as the Sun and Moon do. Somewhere along the way, these paths intersect at two points. These points are known as the northern and southern nodes. This is why Rahu and Ketu are considered invisible/shadow planets, which cause lunar and solar eclipses at different times of the year.
